Volewagen and Slothsquito

Maaw. Poor slothsquito is too lazy and uninteresting to get a full illustration. I suppose I could have put him in about to be run over by the shrew cars.

I am however really tempted to make a plush slothsquito, it would be pretty sweet.

People seem to love these.

I have no idea why.

Bearded Vulture

Been working on this way longer than I should have, I meant to get it done in a day. Oh well. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. He's a lammergeier or bearded vulture. They actually do have those little goatees, which is awesome.

Aliens! Oh my!

The Krieshrarian were the first alien species I made. They exist soley because some of my friends had alien species and I wanted one too! :C
I usually call them the Krie because it's shorter.


I don't have a name for these guys yet. They inhabit a gas giant.


Technologically advanced eel aliens! People did not like the little lightbulb speech bubble in critique but I do so it stays. >: V

Gail is an effeminate Ice Mage I made years ago. We're talking back in highschool. I've recently been revamping him a little, making him uglier and grayer as my style has been slowly drifting that way. He's a jerk. :[

Dave!

This happens to be a character I played in a hellboy based rpg game. He is a North American boogieman. He wasn't always. When he was still human he used to teach middle school English. He was turned after he was attacked by a creature, they have a venom/enzyme thing that breaks down things they try to eat into shadow matter so that they can ingest it (being made out of living shadow themselves), but sometimes their prey gets away with only an envenomed bite and spends the next few days turning into a shadow thing. This is what happened to Dave.

Here we have my Left 4 Dead based character, Lars. He's a sleazy, lying, sack of shit. He was a talented student who dropped out of medschool two years before he would have graduated and proceeded to make and sell drugs. After the outbreak he was bit while attempting to loot, the infection didn't take hold of his nervous system do to a rare genetic condition. So he's pretty much just a gross, sick person.

I go sleep now because I am tired.

Sparkle dragon! Because the monster manuel needs moar sparkles. These are all going to be in reference sheet format eventually. That's why these ones are missing a wing.


I'm kind of fond of this one. He's covered in teeth. :B

Mercer is an asshole, this was not played up enough in the game. I have a love of snarky bastards and scientist. He was neither sciencey or snarky, but he did have giant monster claws.

Needs to be finished.


Also Ghostbusters is a cool videogame. Survival Humor for the win.

Scaredy Cat

This is from two semesters ago. I'm totally cheating. But it does have one of my characters in it. Dave is a North American boogieman, he used to be human and is dangerously close to falling in the "cursed with awesome" trope. He does want to find a way to be cured of it but doesn't whine about it constantly. I got annoyed with all the angry, angsty darkness powered badass superheros so I made one who is more or less a normal guy, he's 38 and used to teach middle-high school English.

He's a supernatural creature so that comes with some interesting powers. He's made of living shadow so bullets are less than effective but bright light hits him like a physical force, he can flatten out into a two dimentsional form and move through shadows, he's crazy fast, and he can shapeshift back into a person although he still doesn't look entirely human (i.e. claws, orange eyes, excedingly gaunt and creepy).

He has read every Steven King book ever and has been working on writing a horror novel for several years. It's pretty bad, he fails at horror.
